Working with Roux Design Studio was a most enjoyable experience which resulted in a beautifully renovated home within our budget and designated timeline. The designer was both professional and personal and accommodated our schedules through in home meetings, phone conversations, emails and texts. Many photos exploring and confirming design taste, colour, and cost were shared. Our ideas were thoughtfully considered, honoured, and extended based on designer's wealth of knowledge, expertise, and sense of design. Cindy and her team at Roux Design Studio remodeled our 22 year old house last summer which involved all the common areas of the home. (Kitchen, Family Room, Living Room, Dining Area, and Office) This included removing pony walls and non-structural beams, new flooring throughout, new lighting, paint, installation of a wooden barn beam fireplace mantel, window treatments, furnishings, and accent pieces. The project took about 8 weeks total, but we only had to be out of the house for three of those weeks during the major construction and flooring phases. Cindy worked with us to really understand the feel of what we were aiming for with our home and delivered on all aspects, steering us to the best options for our space and budget. The house looks fresh and modern with the casual coastal vibe we were seeking. The updates completely changed our environment.
